Queen Balqis Airlines has announced the commencement of its operations starting Thursday, 11th September, on the Cairo – Aden – Cairo route, with direct daily flights. This is to facilitate passenger travel and provide comfortable and safe options.
Travelers can book their tickets via Direct Booking Form On the Thuraya Cruise, which offers an online booking service. It is noted that travellers to Aden via Balqees Airport must have security approval issued during the booking process by Balqees Aviation or its agents. Security approval is required for a specific category of travellers, as it is mandatory for all those aged between 16 and 50 years. Those under 16 or over 50 years of age are exempt from this requirement. The approval fee is 165 US dollars.

The free baggage allowance on Queen Balqis Airlines is 30 kilograms per passenger, with the option to purchase additional weight if needed. Passengers are advised to plan ahead and book tickets well in advance of their flight, and to ensure their passport is valid for at least six months. It is also recommended to arrive at the airport three hours before the flight to facilitate procedures.
This, and the launch of direct daily flights between Cairo and Aden, is considered an important step in enhancing air connectivity, providing modern and reliable services to travellers, and easing the significant pressure on flights from Yemen to Cairo due to the increasing number of passengers and the difficulty of finding available flights.
